The Health Week event organized by the Health Department of Sunway Student Volunteers(SSV) has successfully concluded. We want to extend our sincere gratitude to the dedicated members of AHPM who devoted their time and energy to this inspiring three-day event.
Our members, through their unwavering commitment, turned this event into a great success. Their passion for promoting hypnotherapy was evident and made a lasting impact on all attendees. These exceptional members selflessly contributed their efforts, turning each activity into an enriching experience. Their boundless enthusiasm created an inviting and informative atmosphere that truly embodied the essence of Health Week. Together, you demonstrated the power of teamwork and community collaboration, making this event truly memorable for everyone involved.
The President of the AHPM Dr Hiro Koo and Vice President Zhi Kuan were invited to attend the launching ceremony of the framework and guidelines for traditional and complementary medicine research in Malaysia. The event was hosted by the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Department of the Ministry of Health and was officiated by the highly esteemed Minister of Health, YB Dr. Zaliha Mustafa, with support from the World Health Organization (WHO).
The Federation of Complementary and Natural Medical Associations Malaysia (FCNMAM) is an umbrella body for professional associations and societies registered with the Registrar of Societies. The Federation aims to promote treatment and wellness services related to natural and complementary medicine. Currently, FCNMAM is a recognized designated practitioner body under the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Act 2016 (Act 775). For years, AHPM has been a ordinary member of FCNMAM, contributing to the organization’s mission with steadfast dedication.
Once again, congratulations to our president Dr Hiro Koo for being selected as the Deputy President of FCNMAM again.
Esteemed members of the Association of Hypnotherapy Practitioners Malaysia, it is with great pleasure and pride that we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the new committee members who have been elected to their respective roles. We are honored to announce the newly appointed committee members: Dr. Hiro Koo as President, Ng Zhi Kuan as Vice President, Tan Siang Hee as Secretary, Tean Jia Yee as Assistant Secretary, Teoh Ching Nee as Treasurer, Joyce Hue, Foo Hui Yee, Loh Jun Ming, and Min Yaw Yean Ching as Committee Members, and KiKi and Muniandy as Auditors.
AHPM is celebrating its 12th anniversary today! This is a significant milestone for us, and we are proud of all that we have accomplished together.
Over the past 12 years, we have organized numerous events, workshops, and public activities that have brought us together and made a positive impact in and out of our association. AHPM has grown in strength and numbers, and we have been able to achieve so much thanks to the dedication and support of our members.
AHPM was promoting the benefits of hypnosis at the Redefine Wellness Conference yesterday. The purpose of the workshop was to highlight the importance of preventative healthcare for better well-being.

Starting from World Hypnosis Day, AHPM will discuss hypnosis-related issues with everyone through trilingual live broadcasts for three consecutive nights. The Chinese live broadcast will be launched at 8pm on January 4th
